DefJam official Twitter (@defjam) was hacked and quickly fixed

Some of you will never even hear about @defjam account being hacked but I quickly noticed it. After 15 minutes some inappropriate tweets were posted on @defjam and deleted. It happened so quick that I doubt this will even make a buzz in the news, but I got screenshots.

This video is one of the best videos I have seen in a while. Why? Because they give up. "If you like smurfs, smurf it up." Anybody that had a conversation with me about the digital stuff I do can easily tell how passionate I am. I'm on my daily grind and will not stop until I do some really big moves.

Some people will watch this video and not even get what he is saying, I fully understand it, do you?

"Hot Potato" is better than FourSquare - share with friends more than just your location

I'm all about hearing new startups and ideas in the tech scene. This one really caught my eye when I heard Facebook Closing In On Acquiring Check-In Service Hot Potato. I am an avid FourSquare user when I leave the house. FourSquare is a great way to show my Facebook and Twitter friends where I'm at with brag posts (example: Playboy Mansion...If I ever get invited). I think what FourSquare lacks is the ability to do more than just GPS checkins. Hot Potato blew me away when I visited their site and saw their iPhone app.

Not only does Hot Potato (@hotpotatoapp) let you checkin to a GPS location it also lets me tell my friends what I'm doing with other activities like: tv, music, location, reading, thinking about, video games etc. Once this catches wind from users, this is going to blow FourSquare away with users.

Another great iPhone app that I like to use is Miso where I can checkin to what I'm watching on tv or at a movie theater. The part that I really like about Miso over Hot Potato is they post a wall post with the movie poster I'm watching, with Hot Potato it changes my status update, which I don't like. I think Miso's idea of posting the movie poster is great because it's visual and sticks out more to increase engagement with my Facebook friends.

Twitter Trends is a great way to see what everyone on Twitter is currently talking about. With Hot Potato it has a great way of showing "What's hot right now..." based on the activities. This is better than Twitter trends simply because you can monetize per activity. A perfect example is when the World Cup was on, it was filling up all 10 spots on Twitter trends. What happens if you wanted to know what people are saying about new movies that came out but the World Cup was filling up all the spots on Twitter trends? With Hot Potato I can just click the movie activity and see what people are watching and saying.

Hot Potato is the next biggest thing you will hear about once Facebook starts marketing and integrating it into Facebook. In a perfect world it would be great to see Hot Potato buy out Miso, FourSquare and GoWalla. There will always be competition and someone already wire-framing the next big idea or taking someone's idea and making it better.

YouTube Facebook page profile app, display your channel or playlist

I just recently updated my YouTube facebook app that lets facebook users display their YouTube channel on their page or profile. I just updated the app to allow playlists or a channel.

Ever since Old Spice started going crazy with making new videos for their marketing campaign I couldn't stop watching the video responses. They did an awesome job and I became addicted to watching every one of them! The Old Spice guy is awesome!

Paul Wall Facebook innovation - Only fans can hear snippets

I try to be as innovative as possible with everything I do. Always trying things that have never been done before.

What I decided to do with Paul Wall is have snippets from his new album Heart of a Champion available exclusively on his facebook page http://www.facebook.com/paulwall. At the end of the day this will increase his facebook fans.

I made a facebook application that prompts users that have not clicked "like" on his page an image:

Fans of his page can click the snippets tab which loads daily snippets and informs them which snippets are coming out next.

Now you can sync your TwitPic photos right to your facebook wall with TwitPic Sync

I had to build this because I always got frustrated with being on Twitter and posting a cool picture and then I would have to login to my facebook iphone app and do the same thing. Now I created a way to easily have my facebook profile and pages sync with my TwitPic uploads. Whenever I upload a picture to twitpic, this new facebook application will automatically post it right to your facebook wall! I just made one for TweetPhoto Sync and the next one I will be making is for Yfrog users. I don't see how anyone would not use this if they use Twitter & Facebook. Makes it super easy to share photos between both your accounts.

You can add TwitPic Sync to your facebook profile or facebook page.

The application is free for use on profiles but a small one-time fee for facebook pages.
